I was a bit worried about a matte lip being drying, but this velvety formula actually feels quite comfortable. The color is richly pigmented and builds nicely for a more dramatic look, though I wish the shade was a touch lighter for everyday wear.

The texture is surprisingly lightweight for such a bold, velvety finish. I do wish the color lasted a bit longer through meals, but the pigment is dramatic and buildable like the description says.
